Passmore Group Completes Extensive Refurbishment Of Otley Showroom

wo years after acquiring Yorkshire Plumb Supplies (YPS), Passmore Group has completed the next major phase of its investment in Otley, with an extensive refurbishment transforming the Walkergate showroom.

Following a 20-week refurbishment, the newly transformed showroom reopens on Saturday 3rd October bringing together four brands – More Bathrooms, More Kitchens, More Bedrooms and More Ability – offering bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, home study and accessible bathroom inspiration under one roof.

The transformation includes completely new bathroom and kitchen displays, alongside the introduction of a dedicated bedroom and home study area and an accessible bathroom display – both new additions to the Otley showroom.

Passmore Group acquired Yorkshire Plumb Supplies in July 2024, marking it our third expansion in a decade and extending its showroom presence into Otley.

Otley had been identified as a key location within our wider growth strategy for several years before the acquisition, with its position helping to further strengthen our reach across Yorkshire.

A Completely New Showroom Experience

The extensive refurbishment has transformed the interior of the showroom, replacing the previous displays with a carefully considered collection of new room concepts.

Designed and delivered by our experienced in-house team, the displays showcase a variety of styles, layouts, products, finishes and design ideas to showcase what can be achieved through thoughtful, creative design.

Visitors can explore contemporary and traditional bathroom concepts alongside a completely refurbished collection of kitchens demonstrating different layouts, cabinetry, worktops, storage solutions, appliances and finishing touches.

Rather than viewing products in isolation, the showroom presents complete room concepts, helping customers visualise how different design elements could work together within their own homes.

More Bedrooms – Brand New To Otley

For the first time, visitors to Otley can now explore More Bedrooms, with a dedicated area showcasing fitted bedroom and home study solutions.

The new displays demonstrate how considered fitted furniture and clever storage can make better use of available space while creating a room designed around individual style and practical requirements.

From fitted bedrooms and dressing areas to home studies, customers can explore different finishes and storage ideas before working with our designers to create a solution tailored to their home.

More Ability Arrives In Otley

The refurbishment also introduces More Ability to Otley for the first time, with a dedicated accessible bathroom display.

The display demonstrates how practical considerations around safety, comfort and independence can be incorporated into a contemporary bathroom without compromising on style.

While the refurbishment significantly changes what customers can see and experience in Otley, the showroom is about more than displaying the latest products and design trends.

Across all More Bedrooms and More Ability displays the showroom combines creative, considered design with a fully project-managed service from concept to completion.

Continuing Our Investment In Otley

When Passmore Group acquired Yorkshire Plumb Supplies in 2024, Chairman Tony Passmore described Otley as a location the business had targeted for five years as part of its wider growth strategy. The acquisition followed previous expansion into Harrogate in 2017 and Mirfield in 2019.

Two years on, the completed refurbishment represents a significant further investment in the location and the customer experience we can provide from Otley.
