Passmore Group works with The Forgotten Heroes Charity

19 March 2014

Managing Director, Tony Passmore & Bathroom Surveyor, Nigel Dawson were invited by Adam Douglas, Chairman of The Forgotten Heroes Charity to a Shooting Day Experience as a result of Passmore Groups continuous affiliate involvement with the charity.

Tony Passmore comments on the day’s event:

“Nigel & I were invited by Adam as a result of our affiliation with the charity. We were given training and an opportunity to try our hand at shooting a variety of high powered and semi-automatic weapons. One weapon had a range of over 1 mile and both Nigel and I almost hit a small 1cm bulls-eye from 100 yards. It was a great day and a fantastic opportunity to mix business and pleasure and discuss our continuous partnership and future opportunities.”

The Forgotten Heroes Charity raise funds and awareness for the carers of injured servicemen who are often ‘forgotten’ - it is the only Forces charity that directly assists the Forces carer.

Adam established the charity after a very personal experience resulting in serious injury following deployment in Iraq. No other Forces charity have it within their mission, constitution or governing documents that they can in any way help a Forces carer, they all concentrate upon the Soldier.
