Director raises over £3,000 for local kids charity

Passmore Group Managing Director Tony Passmore, who is not a cyclist, recently completed a 500km cycle challenge by cycling in the heat and humidity of Vietnam and Cambodia, raising over £3,000 for the Leeds Children’s Charity. The charity sends local under privileged children on holiday to a holiday camp near Morecambe, Lancs.

Said Tony ' temperatures soared above 35 degrees each day, which made the cycling doubly tough, but it was a real boost to see the local children, who have very little in the way of possessions, come running up to greet me and my fellow cyclists, shouting hello and doing high 5's'.

He added ' I am overwhelmed at the support of friends, colleagues, customers and suppliers in helping me raise such a large sum of money to send 20 local children on a rare and much needed holiday'.
